4th Grade State Fair
The fourth grade class did a wonderful job sharing their state projects with visitors recently. There were 9 components to the project. Each student wrote a report on their state, created a 3D sculpture of something significant in their state, drew a political map that depicted rivers, mountains, and large cities, wrote a state poem, made a product map, created a bar graph of the top 10 cities by population, created a pennant filled with pictures representing their state, wrote a recipe of a famous food in their state, and dressed up as a famous person from their state. Congratulations fourth grade class!

WELLNESS CORNER
The St. John's Wellness Team is suggesting the following items to be appropriate daily snacks. They are things such as crackers, mini carrots, bananas, cheese, grapes, dry cereal & trail mix. Foods to avoid sending for daily snack would be items such as chips, candy, cookies, cakes/cupcakes & ice-cream. Please avoid sending cakes/cupcakes, candy and chips for birthday treats.
We want to thank you for your continued support of making our students' lives healthy in the areas of eating habits, physical activity and their overall nutrition education.
